How It Works
MoZoop uses a technology called SyncML to transport your contact information between your phone and our servers.
This can be quite tricky to set up so we send your phone a certain kind of SMS message that contains all the settings it needs in order to talk to our servers.
Once you save these settings and start the sync your phone connects to the MoZoop servers using your phone's Internet connection to either Zoop-Up or Zoop-Down the contacts.
What happens to my contacts when I Zoop-Up?
When you start the Zoop-Up process from your phone, it sends all of your contacts to our servers.
These are stored in an area just for you, and no one else, ready for the Zoop-Down.
We only take a copy of the contacts, they will still be on your old phone.
What happens to my contacts when I Zoop-Down?
The settings we send your new phone for the Zoop-Down contain an access code that tells our services where your contacts are held.
Your new phone automatically uses this code when requesting your contacts are sent down from them server.
As each contact comes down, it is added to the address book on your new phone.
